                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 201 BROAD
                   STREET, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF BROAD
                   STREET AT WEST 2ND STREET, FROM M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE TO C-3 CENTRAL BUSINESS
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 201 Broad Street, being
                on the southwest line of Broad Street at West 2nd
                Street.  Lots 1 and 2, CARTA Garage Subdivision, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 53, page 302,
                ROHC; being the properties described in deed book
                4475, page 188, ROHC, and deed book 4475, page 190,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 135K-A-9 and 9.1.
               
               
         from M-1 Manufacturing Zone to C-3 Central Business Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   72 foot height restriction.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
